"To Ergastiri - Lilian Voudouri" Center for the Provision of Services to People with Disabilities was created by the Association in 1984. It offers services to people with mild and moderate intellectual disabilities.

An important achievement for our organization is the acquisition of privately owned building facilities in Ano Liosia. A decisive role in the construction of our privately owned roof was played by the significant donation of the "Lilian Voudouri" Foundation and the significant financial, but also moral support of the Municipality of Ano Liosia.

Since 2003, the name of the Center has been changed to "To Ergastiri - Lilian Voudouri" as a small token of gratitude for the undivided assistance of the "Lilian Voudouri" Foundation to our institution.



Today, "To Ergastiri - Lilian Voudouri" in its privately owned building facilities, provides services on a daily basis to approximately 100 people with intellectual disabilities. Under the supervision and guidance of the scientific and educational staff in the various vocational training areas such as Bakery, Pasta making, Laundry - Ironing, Gardenig, Weaving, Ceramics, Arts and Crafts, Soap making and Beads and Herbs, our Beneficiaries produce a range of cookie products and pasta to woven, batik, ceramic and seasonal items, which they have for sale.

The goal is lifelong learning and professional training with the aim of professional and social inclusion as well as the professional employment of people with intellectual disability. Also the provision of supportive accompanying services, of a therapeutic, psychosocial, educational and recreational nature.  


 

Conference - Events Hall

The building has a hall with a capacity of 250 seats or 350 standing persons and aspires to host a variety of events, educational, artistic, scientific, etc. which can be organized by "To Ergastiri" or by other bodies.



Clinic of Preventive Dentistry and Oral Health Education

“To Ergastiri” operates a Clinic of Preventive Dentistry and Oral Health Education for People with Intellectual Disabilities.

Purpose and services of the dental office: The dental office provides conservative and specific restorative dental work (eg removal of plaque and tartar, treatment of chronic gingivitis, preventive fillings of holes and fissures, non-surgical extractions), whose main goal is to prevent and treat incipient or moderate dental problems. Also, practical advice and instructions (eg oral hygiene products, nutrition) will be provided both to people with intellectual disabilities and to their supportive environment, so that they can acquire the required knowledge and skills for a healthy smile.
